(EN) A house with a cat only has advantages. Anyone who disagrees with this, don't know what you're missing! :P

1. You can throw " balls " of paper to the floor and it ceases to be waste and becomes a toy for your cat. And the best of it is that it's cheap , you can do it whenever you want and it can be paper , plastic or any other material.

2. They are born and don't need to be taught to go to the "toilet". From the moment they know where their box with sand is, they go there whenever they need . You just need to clean it at the end of the day!

3. They love affection. If your cat is like Nico, My Cat, he knows when you need a little caress to make you smile . They aren't so selfish as most people think. They make you feel special ! <3

4 . You don't to be worry about the food because they don't have time to eat like dogs. You can throw food now, but your cat may just go for an hour or two. Am I right or wrong ? 

5. There is no need to take them for a walk. They go alone or aren't even used to it and give up beautifully inside the house.

6. You don't need to bathe your cat, since he once again deals with it. They are very clean!

7. Cats play with you or alone . If 're not at home, they don't bother, because they always find some distraction if it's toilet paper in the bathroom (Just kidding!). ;)


(PT) Uma casa com um gato só tem vantagens. Quem discorda com isto, não sabe o que está a perder! :P

1. Pode deitar "bolas" de papel ao chão, uma vez que deixa de ser lixo e passa a ser um brinquedo para o teu gato. E o melhor disto é que é barato, podes fazê-lo quando quiseres e pode ser de papel, plástico ou outro material qualquer.

2. Eles nascem e não precisam de ser ensinados para irem à "casa-de-banho". A partir do momento que saibam onde está a sua caixinha com a areia, vão lá sempre que precisarem. Tu só precisas de limpá-la ao final do dia!

3. São uma mimalhos de primeira. Se o teu gato for como o Nico, My Cat, ele sabe quando precisas de um miminho para te fazer sorrir. Eles não são assim tão egoístas como muita gente pensa. Eles fazem-te sentir especiais! <3

4. Não precisas de te preocupar muito com a alimentação, pois eles não têm horas para comer como os cães. Podes deitar comida agora, mas o teu gato poderá ir apenas daqui a uma hora ou duas. Estou certa ou errada? O Nico é assim.

5. Não precisas de os levar a passear. Eles vão sozinhos ou então nem sequer estão habituados a isso e dão-se lindamente no interior da casa.

6. Não precisas de dar banho ao teu gato, pois mais uma vez ele trata do assunto. Eles são muito limpinhos!

7. Os gatos brincam contigo ou então sozinhos. Caso não estejas em casa, eles não se aborrecem, pois encontram sempre alguma distracção nem que seja o papel higiénico na casa-de-banho. ;)

...is celebrated each year on October the 4th. It started in Florence, Italy in 1931 at a convention of ecologists. On this day, animal life in all its forms is celebrated, and special events are planned in locations all over the globe. The 4th of October was chosen for World Animal Day because it is the feast day of Francis of Assisi, a nature lover and patron saint of animals and the environment. Numerous churches throughout the world observe the Sunday closest to October the 4th with a Blessing of the Animals.
World Animal Day, however, has now gone beyond being the celebration of a Christian saint and is today observed by animal-lovers of all beliefs, nationalities and backgrounds. Animal blessings are held in churches, synagogues, and by independent animal chaplains in parks and fields. Animal rescue shelters hold fundraising events and open days, wildlife groups organize information displays, schools undertake animal-related project work and individuals and groups of friends or co-workers donate to animal charities or pledge to sponsor a shelter animal.

...é comemorado todos os anos em 04 de Outubro. Tudo começou em Florença, Itália em 1931, em uma convenção de ecologistas. O 04 de outubro foi originalmente escolhido para o Dia Mundial dos Animais, porque é o dia da festa de São Francisco de Assis, um amante da natureza e padroeiro dos animais e do meio ambiente. ...ist der 4. Oktober. Vom 12. bis 17. Mai 1929 war Wien zum dritten Mal Austragungsort des "Internationalen Tierschutzkongresses", an dem Vertreter von 152 Tierschutzvereinen aus 32 Ländern teilnahmen. Der Kongress verabschiedete einen 23-Punkte-Forderungskatalog. Punkt 23 sah die Einführung eines "Tierschutztages" vor.
Am 8. Mai 1931 war es dann so weit. Beim Kongress von Florenz wurde für den 4. Oktober der erste "Welttierschutztag" proklamiert. An ihm gedenkt man des Heiligen Franz von Assisi (Namenstag), der am Abend des 3. Oktober 1226 gestorben ist (nach damaligem Verständnis zählte die Zeit nach Sonnenuntergang bereits zum darauf folgenden Tag; daher 4. Oktober) und als Gründer des Franziskanerordens unter anderem wegen seiner Tierpredigten berühmt und volkstümlich wurde.

Like us, cats can't and/or shouldn't eat certain foods. Do you know what? No!? That's bad, because you'll be giving something wrong to your fluffy kitten. In order not to continue to commit serious mistakes  here's a list. Pay attention !

  1. 1. Chocolate contain theobromine, what can cause an abnormal heart palpitations, tremors, seizures and even death.

  3. 2. Alcohol affects the cat's brain and liver.

  5. 3. The caffeine in beverages, for example, soft drinks, energy drinks, coffees and teas can be fatal. If your cat has the following signs: restlessness, rapid breathing, palpitations, muscle tremors and bleeding means your cat has a caffeine intoxication.

  7. 4. Grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure.

  9. 5. Cow's milk and other dairy products can affect your cat's digestive system, causing diarrhea or allergic reactions.

  11. 6. Too much liver can cause a deficiency of vitamin A which, in turn, create bone deformities and bone growth elbows and column.

Tal como nós, os gatos não podem e/ou devem comer certos alimentos. Sabes quais são? Não!? Isso é mau, pois poderás estar a dar algo errado ao teu gatinho fofo. Para que não continues a cometer estes erros graves, aqui vai uma lista. Toma atenção!
  1. 1. O Chocolate por conter teobromina, pode causar uma palpitação cardíaca anormal, tremores, convulsões e até a morte.

  3. 2. O álcool afecta o cérebro e o fígado do gato.

  5. 3. A cafeína em bebidas como, por exemplo, refrigerantes, bebidas energéticas, cafés e chás pode ser fatal. Se o seu gato apresentar os seguintes sinais: inquietação, respiração rápida, palpitações, tremores musculares e sangramento significa que o seu gato tem uma intoxicação por cafeína.

  7. 4. As uvas e uvas passas podem causar falência renal.

  9. 5. O leite de vaca e outros laticínios podem afectar o sistema digestivo do seu gato, provocando diarreia ou reacções alérgicas.

  11. 6. Muito fígado pode causar uma deficiência de vitamina A, que, por sua vez, criar deformidades ósseas e crescimento ósseo nos cotovelos e na coluna.

  16. 9. Ovos e carnes cruas podem conter a bactéria salmonela, o que causa uma intoxicação alimentar ao seu gato.

  18. 10. O peixe cru é outro alimento que deve ser evitado, porque pode destruir a tiamina, que é uma vitamina B essencial para o seu gato. A falta desta vitamina pode causar problemas neurológicos e levar a convulsões e coma.

  20. 11. O abacate contém a toxina “persin”, que causa problemas no sistema digestivo e o músculo cardíaco do seu gato. Os sintomas comuns passam por sonolência, dificuldades respiratórias, diarreia e vómitos.

  22. 12. A massa de pão, pelo facto de ainda estar cru, pode fazer com que a fermentação ocorra no estômago do gato caso seja ingerida. Dores abdominais, inchaço, sonolência, desorientação, convulsões, coma ou a ruptura do estômago/intestinos são os principais indícios.

  24. 13. O Xilitol, que é um adoçante artificial existente em guloseimas, pastilhas elásticas e alguns alimentos dietéticos  provocam aumento na circulação de insulina no seu gato. Este aumento na circulação, baixará os níveis de açúcar no sangue, levando à insuficiência hepática. Vómitos, sonolência e falta de coordenação motora são os principais sintomas a ter em conta.

Genau wie wir, können und/oder sollen Katzen nicht bestimmte Lebensmittel essen. Weißt du was? Nein!? Das ist schlecht, weil du etwas falsches deiner Katze geben kannst. Damit du diese Fehler nicht weiter begehst, hier ist eine Liste. Achte darauf!

  1. 1. Schokolade enthaltet theobromin, was zu einer abnormalen Herzklopfen, Zittern, Krämpfe und sogar Tod kommen kann.

  3. 2. Alkohol wirkt sich auf das Gehirn und der Leber der Katze.

  5. 3. Koffein in Getränken, zum Beispiel, alkoholfreie Getränke, Energy Drinks, Kaffee und Tee können tödlich sein. Wenn Ihre Katze die folgenden Anzeichen hat: Unruhe, schnelle Atmung, Herzrasen, Muskelzittern und Blutungen bedeutet, dass Ihre Katze eine Koffeinintoxikation hat.

  7. 4. Trauben und Rosinen können zu Nierenversagen führen.

  9. 5. Kuhmilch und andere Milchprodukte beeinflussen das Verdauungssystem deiner Katze, was zu Durchfall oder allergische Reaktionen kommen kann.

  11. 6. Zu viel Leber kann einen Mangel an Vitamin A verursachen, die, wiederum zu Deformierungen und Knochenwachstum und Spalte der Ellbogen verursachen.

  13. 7. Erbrechen, Durchfall, desorientiertes Verhalten und Lähmungen sind die wichtigsten Symptome, wenn Ihre Katze Tomaten isst. Diese können giftig sein, wegen des Solanin, die tödlich für die Katze sein kann.

  15. 8. Wenn der Körper deiner Katze in Kontakt mit Zwiebeln und Knoblauch kommt, bedeutet, dass roten Blutkörperchen beschädigt würden, was zu Anämie führt. Die wichtigsten Symptome sind Erbrechen, roter Urin und Schwäche.

  17. 9. Eier und rohes Fleisch enthalten möglicherweise Salmonellen, wodurch  deine Katze eine Lebensmittelvergiftung haben kann.

  19. 10. Roher Fisch ist ein weiteres Lebensmittel, das vermieden werden sollte, weil es Thiamin erhählt, eine B-Vitamin, die für deine Katze zerstören sein kann. Mangel an dieser Vitamin kann zu neurologischen Problemen, Krämpfen und Koma führen.

  21. 11. Avocado enthält die Toxin "persin", die Probleme im Verdauungssystem und den Herzmuskel deiner Katze verursacht. Häufige Symptome unterziehen Benommenheit, Atembeschwerden, Durchfall und Erbrechen.

  23. 12. Der Teig, weil es noch roh ist, kann zur Gärung im Magen der Katze führen, wenn sie es schluckt. Bauchschmerzen, Blähungen, Benommenheit, Verwirrtheit, Krämpfe, Koma oder Bruch des Magen sind die wichtigsten Anzeichen.

  25. 13. Xylitol, ist ein vorhandener Süßstoff in Süßigkeiten, Kaugummi und einige diätetische Lebensmittel, der zu einem Anstieg der Insulins zirkulierenden deiner Katze führt. Diese Zunahme der Durchblutung, senkt den Blutzuckerspiegel, was zu Leberversagen führt. Erbrechen, Schläfrigkeit und mangelnde Koordination sind die wichtigsten Symptome.
