(PT) 11/12/13 - não é uma das datas mais emblemáticas do ano, mas pode-se apreciar pela raridade do mesmo. Hoje é a última vez neste século, que os números da data apresentam uma ordem consecutiva. Charles Sturt, professor de matemática na Universidade Kenneth Russell, afirmou que esta sequência no calendário só acontece 11 vezes por século.

A soma de todos os algarismos (1+1+1+2+1+3) dá 9. Na cultura chinesa o 9 é um número de sorte, já que significa longa duração.

Nos EUA este dia tornou-se mais do que uma data no calendário. Aparentemente é o dia mais romântico do ano, em que os casais dão o nó. Felicidades! ;)

Winter is coming ... You must have some cautions with your cat.


(PT) Sabia que os gatos no inverno sentem mais frio do que os cães? 

É importante ter algumas cuidados para proteger o seu animal de estimação durante o frio:

1. Nunca se deve vestir roupa aos gatos, pelo facto deles não gostarem nada e podem chegar ao ponto de deixarem de comer.

2. Providencie um cantinho quentinho para o seu gato como, por exemplo, uma caminha, um cobertor, etc. para ele se deitar e ficar quentinho. Se tiver mais que um gato, eles irão dormir bem juntinhos. 

3. Os gatos mais velhos ou os gatinhos com menos de 60 dias necessitam de um tratamento especial, pois têm menos gordura corporal para os aquecer. Leve-os ao veterinário, ele indicará uma dieta especial.

4. No inverno os gatos tendem lamber-se mais vezes, sendo por isso importante que os escova pelo menos 3 vezes por dia para que não engole muito pêlo. Se engolirem demasiado pêlo, podem ter uma constipação intestinal.

(PT) Encontrei este video quando estava a fazer uma pesquisa. É um video sobre o salvamento de um gatinho...Obrigada aos bombeiros! Nem sei o que dizer mais, pois é demasiado emocionante!! Vejam!

The story of a cat who changes the life of a man.


(PT) James Brown, que era um toxicodependente nas ruas de Londres, viu a sua vida a mudar quando um dia se cruzou com um gato. Levou-o para casa e a partir desse dia tornaram-se inseparáveis. O jovem australiano, que era música da rua, era sempre ignorado, mas desde que levou o seu novo amigo para todo o lado, deixou de ser invisível e as pessoas começaram a dar-lhe atenção. 
A amizade cresceu dia após dia e James decidiu escrever "A Minha História com Bob", que vendeu mais de um milhão de exemplares. Com todo este sucesso inesperado, o Australiano lançou o segundo livro "O Mundo segundo Bob". 

Esta história chamou a atenção de todo mundo como, por exemplo, a comunicação social cá em Portugal:
