(PT) 11/12/13 - não é uma das datas mais emblemáticas do ano, mas pode-se apreciar pela raridade do mesmo. Hoje é a última vez neste século, que os números da data apresentam uma ordem consecutiva. Charles Sturt, professor de matemática na Universidade Kenneth Russell, afirmou que esta sequência no calendário só acontece 11 vezes por século.

A soma de todos os algarismos (1+1+1+2+1+3) dá 9. Na cultura chinesa o 9 é um número de sorte, já que significa longa duração.

Nos EUA este dia tornou-se mais do que uma data no calendário. Aparentemente é o dia mais romântico do ano, em que os casais dão o nó. Felicidades! ;)

...ist der 4. Oktober. Vom 12. bis 17. Mai 1929 war Wien zum dritten Mal Austragungsort des "Internationalen Tierschutzkongresses", an dem Vertreter von 152 Tierschutzvereinen aus 32 Ländern teilnahmen. Der Kongress verabschiedete einen 23-Punkte-Forderungskatalog. Punkt 23 sah die Einführung eines "Tierschutztages" vor.

Am 8. Mai 1931 war es dann so weit. Beim Kongress von Florenz wurde für den 4. Oktober der erste "Welttierschutztag" proklamiert. An ihm gedenkt man des Heiligen Franz von Assisi (Namenstag), der am Abend des 3. Oktober 1226 gestorben ist (nach damaligem Verständnis zählte die Zeit nach Sonnenuntergang bereits zum darauf folgenden Tag; daher 4. Oktober) und als Gründer des Franziskanerordens unter anderem wegen seiner Tierpredigten berühmt und volkstümlich wurde.

Tal como nós, os gatos não podem e/ou devem comer certos alimentos. Sabes quais são? Não!? Isso é mau, pois poderás estar a dar algo errado ao teu gatinho fofo. Para que não continues a cometer estes erros graves, aqui vai uma lista. Toma atenção!

1. O Chocolate por conter teobromina, pode causar uma palpitação cardíaca anormal, tremores, convulsões e até a morte.
2. O álcool afecta o cérebro e o fígado do gato.
3. A cafeína em bebidas como, por exemplo, refrigerantes, bebidas energéticas, cafés e chás pode ser fatal. Se o seu gato apresentar os seguintes sinais: inquietação, respiração rápida, palpitações, tremores musculares e sangramento significa que o seu gato tem uma intoxicação por cafeína.
4. As uvas e uvas passas podem causar falência renal.
5. O leite de vaca e outros laticínios podem afectar o sistema digestivo do seu gato, provocando diarreia ou reacções alérgicas.
